The fully private personal gym “Mogami no Kuukan” in Nishi-Azabu was created through weekly meetings held over about six months, with the project team working closely alongside the owner.
Located in a prime area of Azabu, the challenge was to make the unique underground space on the second basement floor truly appealing.
The solution was to use simple yet authentic materials. No wallpaper or synthetic materials were used; instead, natural materials such as tiles, mortar, and leather were employed, all crafted by skilled artisans.
